Modified Concrete Suppliers performed a VES-LMC overlay on the Powhite Parkway over the James River in Richmond, VA. It took 3 weekends to mill, hydrodemolition, and overlay the NB side, which had 5 lanes of traffic. A lane was shutdown on Friday night and had to be opened back up on Monday at 6 am. Modified Concrete Suppliers pour 1200 CY of VESLMC on the project with our biggest pour of 421 CY in a single night.
All three weekends the lanes were opened to live traffic by Sunday evening. The overlay turned out great and still looks good.
